Market day is on Tuesdays every week. The Silvia market takes place in the main square where the various indigenous communities in the region mingle together and gather to sell their products. Silvia is a Colombian Municipality in the Department of the Cauca, located on a high valley (2.620 m.) in the Cordillera Central of Colombia. It consists of six indigenous reserves: Ambalò, Guambia, Kisgò, Pitayò, Quichaya and Tumburao; the rural area and the city.
